Instructor Led – IOSH Working Safely
IOSH Working Safely is designed to inform people at any level within an organisation of the importance of occupational health and safety. Especially suitable for new starts, this course will provide an essential introduction to the basics of safety in the workplace, from identifying potential hazards and risks to taking practical steps to control them wherever possible.
Because the IOSH Working Safely course focuses on best practice rather than legislation, it’s suitable for candidates in the global market, and is not just limited to those within the UK. The course contains practical, realworld examples and case studies that delegates are then able to relate to their own working environments.
A host of interactive study modules, PDF texts, exam simulations, practice questions, knowledge checks and videos are also utilised during training.
The IOSH Working Safely course includes the assessment and the issue of an IOSH certificate following the successful passing of the assessment.
The assessment consists of a 10 question, multiplechoice paper, which delegates will be given 20 minutes to complete, along with a hazard spotting exercise.
Upon completion of the IOSH Working Safely course, the learner will have knowledge of hazards, their associated risks and the controls that can be used to reduce these risks.
