SAFER Training and Aquaterra Group have agreed to a collaboration agreement to deliver blended learning courses on confined space entry and working at height. Aquaterra is a leading provider of confined space entry, working at height, rope access and other HSE-related courses from their purpose built training facility in Kintore. The agreement between the two companies allows for SAFER Training to provide underpinning knowledge on these subject areas via eLearning, with Aquaterra then providing practical, competence-based training to reinforce this knowledge either at their training centre or on customer sites, assets or vessels offshore.
Aquaterra’s Training Director, Charlie Cameron commented, “We are delighted to be working with SAFER Training on this important training initiative. The eLearning courses that we have created are specifically designed to prepare delegates for practical, competence-based training in the workplace or at our purpose-built training facility. They not only cover the basic theory of these subject areas but also provide information that relates directly to the practical training that follows-on. This makes our offering more flexible for our customers and provides a real competitive advantage to us.”
Tim Love, SAFER Training’s Executive Chairman added, “This partnership with Aquaterra allows us to give our customers exactly what they want – effective, engaging, accredited theoretical learning that is directly related to the follow-on practical training and assessment in the workplace. The model we have created minimises logistical costs for our customers and provides them premium quality learning at a highly competitive price.”
